talking about cs at derabassi

its just a trap to increase seats of cs and to divert people so that they can go off campus and other can get main campus branches

you will first miss socities that train people how to be active ,smart, speak well,code well (no socities in derabassi)

derabassi has very less labs no practical knowledge

cs feild need active people but thapar main campus has an avg coading culture with some great coaders which will motivate you

but derabassi has none of that

no one is placed there till now and nothing big is expected too

in crucial years one can’t risk his engg going to place which is in middle of now where

its a village surrounded by pollution of industries (mba student say it stinks )

dont fall for trap

as there is no point spending 20 lakh and doing eng that is not cs or that is in middle of village like derabassi ( lol ittakes 3 buses to reach there and you can’t reach there during strikes which are often there my junior friend is going through same problems)

go for similar branch in main patiala campus and change or upgrade it via cgpa or test
