Which ones cs is better ??Asansol or Purulia engineering college.
It’s a new college started from this year only. Although I got a friend who is reading there. According to him the college has decent infrastructure and average faculty. Hostel doesn’t have wifi facilities till now but they’ll get it within 2–3 months. The location is a bit far from main Purulia town. Located near Chas Road railway station, only hangout places are two tea stalles just outside the college. Overall in years to come we might see pgec going over jgec just because it is nearer to Kolkata than jgec but for now it’s a completely new college
.I would definitely suggest you to join aec if you want to pursue btech under wbut and rank is between 10k and 25k. This year's final rank closing was about 21k. The college has good placement, specially in cse, it and ece. Most of the kids get placed with decent salaries in the it sectors. The companies that come for placement drives in cse include persistent systems, tcs, mindtree, thoughtworks, geotech, zykus and many more.
Most of the departmental teachers are great and if you attend classes and are sincere, scoring in the semesters is easy. And with thorough knowledge you can get placed in any of the companies.
