Hi Govind,
I understand that you wish to work in the counter-intelligence wing of the nation and thus are curious to know how to get into one and so to answer your question, there are two main government organisations in India that undertake Counter-Intelligence operations for the nations that being Research and Analysis Wing( RAW) and Intelligence Bureau( IB) of India.
But getting into these organisations is a matter of great respect and thus is not an easy feat. To get into RAW , you need to first clear all the rounds of UPSC Civil Services Examination and qualify as a Group-A Officer and then sit for RAW selection exam which is also a very tenacious and difficult examination.
To get into Intelligence Bureau, you will tend to get preference if you have a police background but if you don't then don't worry. IB conducts selection examination into their multiple posts but you need to have good scores and fitness records in order to be eligible for the same.
Do make a note that if you have any criminal record against you then you would be straightaway disqualified for selection from the both.
BEST WISHES!
