Hello,

Thanks for connecting to Careers360

Cornea in the eye is the only part of the body that has blood supply. It is also the fastest healing human tissue, any kind of wound gets healed within 24-36 hours. It gets oxygen directly from the air. It is the front, transparent part of  the eye. Isn't it interesting? God is the greatest artist, so many interesting facts and information about everything around us.

Thank you!

Hello Aspirant,

The cornea is the only part of a human body that has no blood supply; it gets oxygen directly through the air. The cornea is the fastest healing tissue in the human body, thus, most corneal abrasions will heal within 24-36 hours

Dear Student,

Cornea is the only part in human body which has no blood supply. It directly takes oxygen from the air. Cornea consists of many tissues and parts. One tissue named Epithelium is present in it. This tissue has its own blood vessels and it takes its nutrients form the capillaries in the lose connective tissues.

Hope this helps.
