which post graduation course in science field is best after bsc microbiology ? ( except msc)
Dear Kimaya,
If you wish to do your PG in a subject other than Microbiology , you may consider options like:
- Law (3 year LLB) : You shall then practice as a Civil/ Corporate/ Criminal/ Cyber Lawyer.
- MBA (Finance/ Marketing/ HR/ International Business, etc.): You may then work with corporates in verticals that you have specialization in.
- M. Sc (Pharmacy): You may then work in various research positions with pharmaceutical companies like Sun Pharma, Ranbaxy, etc.
- Data Analytics: This would lead you to lucrative, number- crunching jobs wherein you will be required to derive meanings from data and thereby help your company in taking business decisions.
- MCA ( You would be required to have studied one or more papers in Maths in your UG) : You can then work as a Software Developer, Cloud Computing specialist, Game Developer, and so on.
- Psychology: You may then work as Counsellor/ Mental Health Therapist with Rehabilitation Centres, Schools, Mental Health Clinics, Hospitals, and so on.
It might be a good idea for you to research about these Career options in detail and then try to visualise where exactly you see yourself.
Please feel free to reach out for any further queries.
All the best!
