Hello,

Firstly you have not mentioned the course you are talking about in order to help you.

But for Jee exams other than category wise reservation, candidates can also apply for admission based on state reservation quota in their domicile state.

  • In NITs, 50% seats are reserved under Home State Quota and rest 50% under Other State Quota.
  • Vacant Home State Quota seats are converted to All India Seats for the mentioned category.
  • If at the time of form filling, you selected the option for category, then you can attend the counselling with your category rank also.
  • First you will be allotted according to your general rank and if you didn't get a seat than your EWS category rank will be considered.
