You have to fill appearing as your results are yet to announce. So 2020-2021 is your academics year for 12th standard. Also the results have not been declared.
Also as you mentioned, you are a fresher, and not dropper/ repeater, so its appropriate for you to fill 2020 - 2021 as your academic year for 10 +2 higher secondary. So for you, 2020 - 2021 is the year you are appearing for NEET entrance exam as well as 12th boards. You can check the link for more details-

Rahul, as your result is awaited so you will counted as the students of 12th class. According to the different codes to write NEET exam, you fall under code 01 which is for the candidates who will be appearing for Class 12 or waiting for the result.
