Dear Applicant,
I hope you are doing well.
When is comes to job opportunities ECE has more scope in government sectors compared to CSE. You can get an average salary of 3 to 4 lakhs.
While your cse has more scope is private sector based on the company's you joint. Programmers are very much in high demand nowadays as most of the technology is upgrading with programs. Ie. If you chosse programming others also are more inclined towards private sector jobs only.
So both have good scope in their respective sectors
Hello there...
Nowadays Branches in engineering doesn't matter as anyone can go in the sector which he/she wants irrespective of branch.
All engineering branches have their own importance.
So now as you've asked about CSE and ECE , I would like to tell you that both the branches are very good . CSE is the most demanding as a result they are hired easily by the companies with a good package ,scope of CSE in private sector is good.
ECE branch has more scope than CSE in government sector while they can also make their career with a software profile. Even student of any branch can get Placement like CSE students if they have the skills which are required today.
Thanks
I hope it'll be helpful...
Hello
Both the sector ECE and CSE are good . It depends on in which field you want to do your career. As opportunity point of view the ECE has scope in government sector while CSE has in private sector.
So both the courses are good first you to know about your interest. As both have the opportunities.
Thank you.
Frankly speaking so, computer science engineering has more job opportunities as compared to ECE...
As...you must also know the fact that as the number of job opportunities are more ...like it the same way the competitions are also very more.....
As now a days you will find competition everywhere..... you have to face that ina ll streams. .
Be wise while opting career..
Better luck!!!
Hello, hope you are doing well!
CSE opens up software jobs and ECE opens up both software as well as hardware jobs because the course structure of ECE has quite a few CSE courses in it. But as an ECE graduate, it is a bit hard to end up in software jobs as compared to a CSE graduate. If you are sure that your interests lie in coding, and you want to end up being a software engineer, you should go for CSE. But if you are not sure whether your interests lie in coding or not, you should think a little before choosing either of the two. Delve into the syllabus/coursework of both the branches and try to figure out which one piques your interest.
Just remember one thing that if you choose ECE, it would be possible to shift to the software roles, but it would require a lot of external effort because ECE in itself is a very hard branch, and along with that you would need to be really good at coding (as good as any CS guy) in order to get a good placement.
There are a huge number of job opportunities in both the branches. Several biggies such as Microsoft, Amazon, google etc hire people from CSE, although I do believe that one really does’nt need to be a computer science engineer to land up in a software role, even people from other branches can refine their coding skills and land up in any one of these, as most of these companies are open to all the branches when they come for campus placements. However, like I mentioned above, if you have already decided that you want to go for a software role, it’s best to choose CSE because then your coursework would be aligned with your interests/requirements.
Apart from the aforementioned companies, ECE students also get a choice to sit for companies that offer hardware roles(ECE Core companies). some of which include, Intel, Texas Instruments, Qualcomm, Snapdragon etc. But do remember that these companies come to only the Tier one colleges in India, so if you’re not in a tier one college, it’s best to go for CSE, because CSE companies generally hire way more people as compared to ECE companies.
The world is oriented towards Software and Artificial Intelligence, which is why the job opportunities are always going to be the most in CSE.
