• If the first one you give of the two exams goes bad (god forbid!) then you might get depressed and it will affect your performance in the next one. JEE is considered to be of a higher level as compared to BITSAT. So higher chances of JEE going bad(again, god forbid!). Give BITSAT before JEE if this profile suits you.

• If you give JEE first and somehow things go wrong, then you will know that BITSAT is your only resort, and will consequently work harder and more seriously towards getting good marks in BITSAT. If this profile suits you, give JEE first .

So, make your decision based on what is your mindset during exams and what you think would be your level of preparation before and after Advanced.

BITSAT exam notification 2018 is yet to be announced and hence at this moment, it’ll be difficult to intimate you the exact date of the beginning of slot booking procedure. Slot booking is a very important process to complete where candidates will have to reserve a date and time for appearing in the exam.

BITSAT exam is going to be organized at various states of India as well in Dubai. Candidates can give their choice of exam centre during filling the application form. After completion of application session, the exam conducting authority will release the list of exam centres including date and time for each centre. Below, I’m sharing procedure of booking your slot:

Candidates are first required to access the link mentioned below.

Under the login page, candidates are suggested to enter their personal information such as application number, date of birth, gender and Email ID.

After providing the necessary information, candidates are suggested to click the “Proceed” button.

Now, you need to choose the exam centre and hit on the “Continue” button.

The time slots options will be displayed over there. There will be at least three slots every day.

Candidates are required to choose their slot as per their wish.

Once you selected your preferred date and time and then you need to confirm it by submitting the form.

After doing so the booking slip will be generated.

Brother power! My name is also Rohan. Anyways let me jump straight to your question by giving my real life story.

I graduated from class 12 in 2016 and chose to give BITSAT on Tuesday, a day's break after JEE Advanced. Most of my FIITJEE friends took the exam a week before JEE Advanced. The result?

All my friends did well scoring above 300. But, I could get only around 280 and thus missed my big chance of getting into BITS. The reason?

Note that the difference in level of difficulty of questions in JEE Advanced and BITSAT is as far as the distance between the sky and the ground. So, in my case, I didn't as well as I expected in Advanced. After checking my answers with the key that released on Monday, I was next to crying and as a result of that sadness, I couldn't perform well.

But, if you write a week before the Advanced exam, then you are relatively stress free. Also, you might feel that it is a practice for JEE Advanced (a small bit). You would have written other entrance exams also and if you perform well in BITSAT, it can boost your confidence.

So, it all depends on how prepared you are to tackle the two exams, I would definitely recommend you to write before JEE Advanced.
