There isn't any short term diploma through which you can get admission in B.tech 2nd year.You need to complete your 3 year diploma course in engineering and pass.And then you will be given admission through lateral entry.You need to appear for entrance exam conducted by your state to get admission through lateral entry or in few colleges admission is based on merit in diploma.
