Which state has maximum number of medical colleges?

Karnataka has the maximum number of private colleges at 34, followed byAndhra Pradesh (28), Maharashtra(25) and Tamil Nadu (24). Sikkim is the only state which has no government college.

Hello aspirant

According to health ministry ,there are 57,138 MBBS seats in 422 colleges across the country .  karnataka has largest number of medical colleges

Andhra Pradesh has the second highest number of seats (7,150)

Maharashtra has the third highest number of seats (6,595) and

Tamil nadu  has fourth highest number of seats (6,115)

No others states have more than 5000 MBBS seats
