According to me software engineering is a wonderful field in engineering. Unlike computing it is a specialized field and there are many applications of softwares in many fields. So all these fields need software engineers who can create softwares according to their needs and expectations. In software engineering you study mathematics that is necessary in computing as well as other relative things of computer science. Many companies recruit software engineers through campus selection or in other way.
