Media Sciences is a study of traditions from both the social sciences and the humanities aspects from the mass communication aspect. This area is a part of the study under mass communication theories or communication studies.

The curriculum and definition may vary from one university to another. You must check the programme first to see whether it serves your purpose or not. Most of the part is covered under mass comm degree only. Rest is Media Theories, Communication theories etc.
