Age of the candidate is between 21-30 both are inclusive
a candidate must have completed his graduation in pharmacy or pharmaceutical science or clinical pharmacology or microbiology or medicine or any other equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
candidates may go for higher studies to gain more knowledge in this field but it is not compulsory for exams.
subjects required physics, biology/microbiology, chemistry/biotechnology.

To become a drug inspector , you need to obtain a Bachelor degree in Pharmacy with a standard marks to apply for UPSC .. and through that you can be recruited as a drug inspector.
You may also opt for M.Pharm as few Central govt sectors may require M.Pharm as minimum degree to apply for Drug inspector role.You need to appear for GPAT for M.Pharm course.
