Hello,

To become a Space Scientist, you need to have a relevant career in pure Science or any other engineering disciple. Despite being any subject, you can have scope of being a part of ISRO as all roads leads to the career in science. ISRO recruit candidates with PhD in Astronomy, Physics and Mathematics along with engineers in disciplines such as mechanical, electrical, electronics and computer science.

The recruitment to ISRO is conducted by a Centralised Recruitment Board. The The selection will be made through a written examination and an interview. And also by the eligibility criteria and other factors.
