which subjects to prepare first for gate (cse paper)or what is the order one should follow and does the order of subject really matters?

The GATE CS and IT paper is consist of questions from aptitude and the subject (CS and IT) further divided into sections: Engineering Mathematics, Digital Logic, Computer Organization and Architecture, Programming and Data Structures, Algorithm, Theory of Computation, Compiler Design, Operating Systems, Database, and Computer Networks. It is a computer based examination which has 65 questions and total marks is 100. So which part you are week try to read more that and then the other parts.

- Study discrete and engineering mathematics at first
- Digital Logic -> Computer Organization and Architechture
- Programming and Data Structures -> Algorithms
- Theory of Computation -> Compiler Design
- Subjects like Operating System, DBMS and Computer Networks can be studied individually, they do not require much of the prior knowledge, just basics
- Also focus on Non-Tech portion like Reasoning Apti and English along with your preparation
