Which topics should I study to get 50-80 marks in neet physics
NEET 2024: Cutoff (OBC, SC, ST & General Category)
NEET 2024 Admission Guidance: Personalised | Study Abroad
NEET 2025: Syllabus | Most Scoring concepts | NEET PYQ's (2015-24)
In order to score 50-100 marks in NEET, a candidate must know the weightage of different sections in order to select the most important parts and leave apart the tougher ones.
If you make an analysis of the physics sections, you would see that
Almost every year the percentage of questions from Class 11 and 12 remains same.
Hence, an equal pressure on both the Classes' syllabus
From Class 11 :
-
Mechanics
-
SHM and Waves
-
Gravtation
-
Hydrostatics and Hydrodynamics
-
Electrostatics
-
Optics
-
Semiconductors
-
Magnetism
Apart from these, it's advised to prepare a few factual chapters from which often direct questions are thrown.
Hope this helps.
All the Best !
The syllabus for Physics in NEET UG is same as the syllabus prescribed by CBSE for classes 10th and 12th.
While the syllabus is specified, there is no particular blue-print given that would indicate the weightage carried by each chapter. As a result, each and every chapter has equal chances of having the highest weightage. This makes each and every chapter equally important. So for instance, if Electric Potential and Capacitance had the highest weightage in 2016, it is not mandatory that it will carry the same weightage the following year too. It might happen that the following year, Force and Laws of Motion will have the highest weightage.
The most important thing in Physics is that memorize the formulae from each and every chapter and practise a lot of MCQs.
