Hey,

If you want to become lawyer after 12th standard then you can go for some dual programme like BBA + LL.b Hons. or B.A + LL.b hons or B.com+ LL.b hons. depending on your interest.

It will be advisable if you do your degree from a well known university and that provides prime placement opportunity, outstanding exposure and professional enhancement training. I can enlist some university for your help - Symbiosis University, Lovely Professional University, Aligarh Muslim University, Christ University etc are the prime names offering all these assets to their students. These universities provides extensive learning programs and exposure to the students. They also provide worthy scholarships to its students depending upon the entrance test taken of the university or board result.

I am just giving you a brief about the degrees, you can select any depending upon your interest:

BBA + LL.b Hons. : Graduates may opt for legal practice, where management foundation will groom aspiring lawyers for the corporate sector.

B.A + LL.b hons. : Targeting students with an interest to pursue legal education with social sciences to benefit society. Creation of well trained and dedicated professionals in legal framework.

B.com+ LL.b hons. : The grounding in commerce will appeal to potential entrepreneurs who want to understand the relevant legal nuances or engage in practice of law.

I hope it helps.

Hey.

If you're interested in Law and looking forward to get admission in a 5 year Law course, then you'll have various options from integrated degrees like BA LLb, BCOM LLb, BBA LLB, BSC LLB. Practically speaking all these courses have the same value and the same scope in all kinds of jobs whether corporate, Judiciary, Litigation, teaching and more. So the choice between the course should be made only based on the area of your interest. If you're interested on commerce subjects then you can go for BCOM and BBA integrated courses instead of BA LLB and similarly for others.

Most of the top colleges like NLS Bangalore, NALSAR, NLU Delhi etc offer the course of BA LLB only and the subejcts of BA are easily manageable along with law. Other than this if you're interested in Commerce subjects then it will help you grasp the basics of Business law, company law etc more easily. Other than this there is no much difference of scope. So mainly you should focus on getting a better college and then your area of interests.

Similarly if you go for 3 year LLb the graduation degree won't matter much, your law college will.

Best of luck
