which was more good CE or CSE....?

If you compare two branches of Engineering, which are completely different in nature, the answer is comparison does not exist. But if you compare with certain criteria like placement, research scope etc., CSE will be much ahead of CE.

As per placement of CSE, it is highest among all engineering branches in India. Civil is getting lowered day by day as there is less construction going on all over the country.

In contrary, Civil Engineering is the oldest branch of Engineering and hence most conceptual after Mechanical. Research scope is vast in this field. Computer Science is the newest branch and hence scope of research is less compared with other core branches.

Civil engineering is one of the most oldest and reputed field of engineering that deals with the design, construction, and maintenance of the environment, including works such as construction of roads, bridges, canals, dams, airports, structure of buildings, railways, etc.

If you are a civil engineering then majorly you have to design transportation projects, build, supervise, operate, construct and maintain infrastructure projects and systems in the public and private sector, including roads, buildings, airports, tunnels, dams, bridges.

There is a common misconception that a civil engineer is only responsible for making buildings and Bridges. A civil engineer do a lot more than designing buildings and bridges.
You can work in the aerospace industry, design jetliners and space stations.
Yoy can also get a job in the automobile industry where you have to calculate the load-carrying capacity of a chassis and improving the crash resistance of bumpers and doors.
Also you can work in ship building industry, power industry, and multiple other industries requiring constructed facilities.

Now on the other hand computer science engineering is one of the biggest and topmost branches and is a very reputed engineering branch.

You have to learn many aspects of computing, from the design of individual microprocessors, pc laptops, and supercomputers to circuit designing and writing software that powers them.

You have to handle big datas using coding and work as computer hardware engineer, computer software applications engineers, or computer systems engineers. You have to design computer chips, create software programs that help computer systems run, or design software applications.
There is a very wide demand of computer science engineer is game development companies.
You have to program and design them and making your career in this field means your career is set.

The pay is very handsome as compared to civil engineering wether you work in domestic country or abroad countries.

Now if you are confused that which is better, so according to me cse is much better than civil engineering.
And the placements in any college for cse branch is higher than civil engineering branch.

So computer science engineering is better than civil engineering.

CE and CSE both are software degree,but CSE is software and a bit of hardware wheras CE is also software and hardware with strong emphasis on electrical engineering design than CSE.CSE is more of a middle ground between CE and CS.So if you want a taste of the digital circuits/signal and systems background while keeping the focus on more CS opportunities then CSE is a better option.
