As LPU faculty, I would recommend LPU, LPU is known for its MBA. LPU provides quality education, with great scholarship programs plus holistic learning opportunities.

Mittal School of Business is among the first 10 institutions in India to get ACBSP (USA) accreditation, Mittal school of Business ranked among the top 40 Management institution in India, as per NIRF ranking 2021.

The curriculum is made keeping in mind the current market trends. The placements are 100%, and students have special placement-oriented classes that serve as a booster for students to clear the exam and interview. Companies like Hyatt, Ritz Carlton, Adani Wilmar, Altruist, Al-Rakha, Dharam Consultancy selected LPU students for International locations. The highest package availed is 21 LPA. More than 650 companies visit LPU every year for recruitment with an average of 5-12 LPA packages and the highest package was 21LPA. Every year visiting companies escalate in number and till date University has recorded the highest placements in North India.

The students can join an internship by sitting in the placement drive organized by LPU or they can organize at their own end. The students can work in banks (Private or Public), the Pvt sector or Public Ltd. companies, etc. The students have done an internship in Companies like IDBI, FUTURE GENERAL INSURANCE Company, COHO, Times of India, Hindustan Times, Karvy stockbroking, Decathlon Sports Ltd; etc.

MIT-WPU PUNE is better

Let’s begin with Pros :

1. Great Infrastructure

The building & campus is very clean and camputer labs are good. The classrooms are well lit and ventilated. The washrooms on every floor are regularly cleaned and is kept very hygienic. (It is only when I visited other colleges in Pune for competitions that I realised how great our washrooms were.) The Labs have a very high speed stable internet connection usable for students. However, students do not have Wifi Facility as advertised.

2. Staff

I’ll admit here, the non teaching staff (Janitors, Office Staff, Peons, Lab Staff etc) are the most helpful and gentle people in the campus. They always help you if you need anything. They’re never rude and always friendly. The janitors have always returned me my jacket, or my phone intact. Bless them for that!

3. Academics (BBA/BBA CA/BBA IB)

The faculties are great. They’re all qualified professionals and they teach well. Like any other institute, 10% of them really do a bad job, risking student’s time and compromising the skills. I said such strong words because from personal experiences, we had a couple of very important subjects and faculty had poor teaching skills. Most of us now dont have a sound base in that subject. And I believe that’s going to affect us in the long term. College does accept feedback forms from students where we rate every faculty on basis of punctuality, teaching skills, etc on a scale of 1 to 5, but after my time here, I think they go unheard and unchanged, probably because of lack of skilled staff.

4. Events & Exposure

College does a great deal of events every now and then, where students volunteer and conduct events. This gives students a great deal of experience and opportunities. There are events within college, within MIT Group events and other events that regularly come to our college for promotions. Every post imaginable is given to a student, be it calling, felicitation, sponsors, volunteering, security, discipline, catering, sound, technical setup etc.

5. Other Facilities

Gym facility is present. Good quality of food in canteen. Parking is a headache during exams as all students are present on that day and college parking, though huge, cannot accommodate causing jams outside campus. A wide spacious front & back porch is present. Library is well equipped. Placements are great. The college, every semester, distributes 2 reference books from the subjects students are studying.
