First of all, let me tell you that IIT INDORE offers B.Tech Programmes which are purely Engineering Programmes where as IPM INDORE is a Purely Management Based programme.

So both programmes have their own significance.

It completely depends on your preference you want to pursue your career into.

So it completely depends on your choice and interest.

There is nothing like a lower branch in an IIT or ipm.for example there are some students from biotechnology department who have passion in coding and end up in great jobs.



Even if u don't go for software jobs,you can develop your skills in your own branch.



Just remember there is no lower branch,it's within your effort,if you have interest in tht particular branch go for it.
