Which would be a better choice-B.E chemical engineering in jadavpur university or chemical engineering in Anna university?

In terms of placement and infrasture

Jadavpur University

Placements : Placement of 2018 batch is awesome. Chemical Engineering placement is next to computer Science. Far better placement than Mechanical. UOP Honeywell, Vendant Resources, Carin India, L&T, Reliance Petroleum, Bharat petroleum, Haldia Petroleum, HSBC Bank, ZS Associates, Actors India Limited etc. Company placed almost 100% of batch Strength, Some students got double, triple, tetra packages. The highest amount of package of previous batch was 18LPA.

Infrastructure : Jadavpur University's Chemical Engineering Dpmnt is One of the oldest departments in the world and the oldest is India and second the oldest in Asia. Our department has infrastructure better than some of the top IITs in India.

Anna University

The placement scenario is not quite noteworthy this year as only 32% has been placed in Dept of Chemical Engineering, Anna University.

Following are the details of companies visited and number of students placed.

The CTC of the above mentioned companies ranges from 2.5 LPA to 8 LPA with an exception of BPCL (17 LPA).

I would suggest you for Jadavpur University any day there is no comparison between Jadavpur University and Anna University.

Jadavpur University is one of the India's best engineering college and the college is famous its legacy, faculty and very good placements.

Other than this it is said to be better from all the NIT and IIIT. And if we consider the chemical engineering branch then the college provide very good placements for chemical engineering students and many internship of Asia also provided to the students of chemical engineering in Jadavpur University.

Anna University is one of the well-known private university in Southern part of India but it is never as good as Jadavpur University. The placements of departments like cs and it is good at Anna University but the chemical engineering branch is not as the placements of departments like cs and it is good at Anna University but the chemical engineering branch is not much good.

Thus I would suggest you to go for Jadavpur University any day.
