Hello,

If you enjoy working with numbers and are interested in learning more about statistics, consider pursuing a statistics bachelor's degree. If you're interested in economics, an economics hons degree is the way to go.

After statistics or economics, you can pursue an MA, MBA, or PHD in their respective disciplines.

However, after completing your economics hons, you can pursue INDIAN ECONOMIC SERVICES, which have the same worth and respect as other IAS services.

Furthermore, data scientists are in need now, therefore statistics majors are in demand, but we can't predict the future, but economists are in demand all of the time, including during recessions. Both statistics and economics hons are complex topics, and you should only take one of them if you are strong in maths.

Hope it helped
