which would be better among nit kurukshetra and pec chandigarh for ee branch??
Hi Aspirant,
PEC Chandigarh: The PEC University of Technology (Punjab Engineering College of Technology) is one of the pioneering engineering colleges in Punjab. The Institute became Deemed University in 2003 through an MHRD notification and was renamed PEC University of Technology in 2009. There are nine academic departments and two centres of excellence.
- Faculty: The curriculum of the course is important and linked to the industry. Teachers are up-to - date with a lot of material and competent. The college not only promotes academic learning, it also promotes overall growth. Teachers in our department are also supportive.
- Infrastructure: Infrastructure and services are fantastic. Wi-Fi and the technology is good. Smartboards and air conditioners are mounted everywhere. It's pretty good.
- Placements: Electrical students are required to sit in almost any software and coding company, and these companies are MNCs, so studying for them will get you a high package and a good work. The presence of core companies is far less relevant. Top companies including Amazon, OYO, Microsoft, Goldman Sachs and many more visited here.
- Highest salary package INR 42 lakh offered by Microsoft, whereas average package is of about INR12-16 Lakh.
- Highest salary package In Electrical branch is INR 17.5 LPA and average is INR 7 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 4.5 LPA.
NIT Kurukshetra: National Institute of Technology (NIT) Kurukshetra, ranks 43 of India's top engineering colleges by 2018 NIRF. The Institute offers B.Tech, M.Tech, MCA and MBA programmes as well as a PhD programme in Humanities, Engineering and Sciences. Since 2015, the placement figures have shown a steady rise with the average number of students being put in a shooting range of up to 95 per cent.
- Faculty: Teachers are very supportive and highly trained. They are all Ph.D. holders and have strong expertise. The standard of teaching is good. The programme is important and makes the industry ready for all students. They're giving so much industry knowledge.
- Infrastructure: The facilities at the campus are very strong. The infrastructure is terrific. Wi-Fi is available on the entire campus 24 hours a day. Classrooms are very good with full air conditioning, tidy and clean. Hostel facilities are too sweet, too. Food is nice. Sports facilities are open.
- A total of 145 firms, including Microsoft, Arcesium, Sales Force, JP Morgan, American Express, Goldman Sachs, Airbus, Texas Instruments, Mastercard and Amazon, have made 461 deals to 2019-20 students.
- The highest salary package offered was 40 LPA, and the average salary package offered was 20 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 5 LPA.
The final decision should be yours. All the best.
Thank you.
I feel, Punjab Engineering College (PEC Chandigarh) is a better option than NIT kkr. PEC has lesser fees and return package is higher. Since the return of investment is higher in PEC, I would chooses that. Click the link below for more:
