Though you were asked at the time of filling form , to fill the language column. But , it doesn't matter much because at the day of examination you were not asked to fill the language column. The provided question paper will contain two language that is Hindi and English. You may take help of both language.

Yes, you can do that. From what I can sense, you have opted for Hindi as the language of preference for JEE mains. Now you want to change it to another language. At the beginning of the paper, before 15 minutes to the start of the exam , you'll have to choose your language.

They will again ask you to choose your language in which you want to solve the answers. Even while solving, in the middle of the paper , you can change the language; as there's an option for that at the right top corner during the whole exam.
