While filling the registration for mhtcet Centralised admission process, I selected open category. but it still asks for my caste. what should I enter there? I am a Muslim.

you can fill Pathan/sayyed/ansari  etc etc ......whatever caste you belong in that column.

Hi candidate,

The counselling rounds and the seat allotment process depends greatly on the number of students or applicants applied and registered for the admission rounds along with their category.

You have to clearly mention your category because of reservation criteria for several categories, hence the very particular and sure that you enter the right category from which you belong.
