Students who have not joined any coaching or are not preparing from the last 1 or 2 years should not think that they are out of the race. You still have 2 months.
Students should read the theory then solve questions from that chapter and he will be able to complete the syllabus like this in these two months. Along with that, he must keep on doing the full syllabus test. Attempting the tests will help them to know about their preparation level. Also, they should not feel bad or demotivated while analysing the results. They should analyse it practically and know about their weak areas. Continuous practice will help them to improve.

Now, students who were preparing from the beginning but they feel themselves not well prepared. This is a psychological issue. Any target/task can be achieved with correct psychology. If you have a positive psychology then you can perform well but if you have a negative psychology then you can't perform well even if you are talented. So, such students should know that they have enough time to improve their preparation level. They should know about their weaker areas and work upon them and then solve full syllabus test papers periodically.
Students who have prepared well but because of the lockdown they have started feeling sluggish and have become more casual. They should not let their momentum slow down and solve full test papers of Advance level. If they are comfortable with JEE Main then they should focus on the Advanced. They should practice full mock tests of JEE Main and also Advanced.

Yes, it is very important. Students should first read the theory followed by solved examples followed by solving exercises. After this students should take the chapter test because it will help them to understand the minute points of the chapter which may get unnoticed in the full syllabus mock test.
Chapter tests focus on the chapter and minute details are also covered in the chapter test and in the examination, for example, two questions are asked from that chapter and that too from the minute points of the chapter. That is why chapter tests are also important.
Chapter tests should be attempted during revision and in the last 15 days, students should take full mock tests and that too in the examination like environment. Also, after taking the test, analyzing the test is more important.
