Correct Answer: Aurangzeb

Solution : The correct answer is Aurangzeb .

After Shah Jahan fell ill in September 1657 CE, a dispute over succession arose among his four sons, namely Dara Shikoh, Shah Shuja, Aurangzeb and Murad Bakhsh. Aurangzeb emerged victorious and declared himself emperor in 1658 CE. He then imprisoned Shah Jahan in the Agra Fort for the remainder of his life, with strict orders to keep him there.
