The government seats for any Tamil Nadu medical college is reserved only for people who are natives of Tamil Nadu. The candidates are expected to have studied in Tamil Nadu from class VI to class XII. If this isn't the case, then the candidates are supposed to submit their parent's documents, like Birth certificate/10th/12th/Degree certificate, etc and passport/Ration Card, to confirm their parent's birth place as Tamil Nadu and to reaffirm their relationship with the candidate.
