Correct Answer: Warren Hastings

Solution : The correct answer is Warren Hastings.

The Sadar Diwani Adalat, which was established in Calcutta, heard the District Diwani Adalats' appeals. To handle criminal cases, District Faujdari Adalats were set up. In Calcutta in 1772, Warren Hastings founded the Supreme Court of Revenue. The Governor General, and East India Company council members presided over the proceedings as judges, with help from local judges, and tax officers.
