Hello Rejina
According to the Medical Council of India (MCI) persons with visual impairment of 40 per cent or more could not be admitted to the undergraduate medical course. However in some cases the supreme court upreme Court has allowed persons suffering from 'low vision', a disability in which the eyesight cannot be corrected or improved, to pursue the MBBS course and treat patients. So if you are eligible you can challenge the decision of counselling committee in court other possible solution is correct your eye sight according to MCI norms if possible. Hope this helps.
Thank you.
