Both are equally good. There is no doubt that both of these reputed roles have supreme respect and power equally. Both the job roles are some of the most difficult to acquire by an individual.
See, both fields are different. For being a scientist, a different skill set is required while for Being an IAS, it is the same. The similarity is both works for the betterment of the country in every possible terms.
A scientist needs to have a deep focus on some particular subjects like Satellite data and invention. However, for an IAS, it is the development of the country. No doubt that people always considered IAS to be more prestigious and reputed. But ISRO Scientist also stands at same if we think logically.
Ask yourself whether you want to be an IAS or ISRO scientist. Think accordingly.
A wise decision is always appreciated.
