Galgotias University (GU) is a private state university which is approved by UGC. The university has been ranked 177th rank as per the NIRF ranking 2021.
At present, Mr.Suneel Galgotia is the chancellor. The director differs from institute to institute under the Galgotias University. The director of Galgotia's College of Engineering and Technology is Prof. Brijesh Singh who is also a professor of the Department of Mechanical Engineering.
