The Central Pool Quota seats in NEET are basically those seats which have been obtained through voluntary contributions from various State Governments or colleges. These seats are allocated to States or Union Territories which have insufficient or no medical or dental institutions of their own. The seats are also reserved for wards of individuals working with certain Government Departments.
The beneficiary states/Union Territories are:
Arunachal Pradesh
Manipur
Meghalaya
Mizoram
Nagaland
Sikkim
Tripura
Andaman and Nicobar
Dadra and Nagar Haveli
Daman and Diu
Lakshadweep
The beneficiary Government Departments are:
Ministry of Defence – For wards of Defence Personnel
Ministry of Home Affairs – For wards of Paramilitary Personnel and for wards of Civil Terrorism victims
Ministry of External Affairs – For wards of Mission Staff posted outside India
Ministry of Human Resource Development – For Tibetan Refugees
For Cabinet Secretariat – for wards of personnel working at RAW, SSF, SPG and others
For Indian Council of Child Welfare – for National Bravery Award winners.
Students from all states are eligible for 15% quota seats except J & K so you can apply accordingly.
