Only those candidates who score a minimum cut off as prescribed by AIIMS (50% for General, 45% for OBC and 40% for SC/ST), will be eligible for AIIMS counselling. However, only those candidates will be called for AIIMS counselling, whose names will appear in the merit list. AIIMS declares result in the form of online merit list prepared on the basis of candidates’ scores in competitive entrance exam. Candidates must note that, if they are called in a particular round of counselling (viz. first, second or third) by AIIMS, but they fail to appear before the counselling committee in that round of counselling, then they will be considered absent and will not be eligible for subsequent rounds of counselling. However, they will be eligible to appear for counselling in open counselling session which is conducted after third round of counselling is over. On contrary, a candidate who appeared and opted for a seat in one round of counselling, is also eligible to appear and opt for a seat in subsequent rounds of counselling, however, they will not be permitted to change their choice after third round of counselling is over.
