Hello,

Most of us lose in our endeavors at self-improvement because our ideas are too grandiose and we hardly have time to execute them out. We also commit the fundamental error of publicising our resolution, making us appear even more silly when we revert to our old poor habits.

Since we are distracted by many things that impede us from developing, individuals who are focused and unaffected by their environment will achieve their goals regardless of what happens. Most of us do what pleases us rather than focusing on what will offer us pleasure in the long run. We seek short-term pleasures while ignoring the things that will cause long-term strain that will last forever.

Hope it helped
