why aiims admission aligibility different than other govent medical college for mbbs

Dear aspirant

AIIMS medical College are premieres College in the field of medicine. As of January 2022, a total of 20 AIIMS Colleges in India are functioning currently. Total 2044 MBBS Seats available in 20 AIIMS Colleges. Earlier when AIIMS admission was not through neet, AIIMS use to take their own examination for feeling up seat of medical College. From there only AIIMS eligibility criteria was different and it had been followed since then.

The minimum aggregate of the marks in the examination for General and OBC candidates are 60%, for SC/ST candidates are 50% & for PWD candidates are 45%.

To get admission in AIIMS you must fulfill above criteria and you must attend aiq counseling to get seat in AIIMS medical College

As you are in last week of preparation of neet examination,try to focus on more scoring chapter and revising the concept. And keep practicing questions by attending test series. One of helpful material for you is given below,you can take help and improve score

rajeevanand843 sir my aggregate percentage is 58% percent in pcb after qualifying neet with good rank can i take admission top medical college like vmmc delhi and kgmu and gmch chandigarh ? except aiims because aiims required 60 percent i don't have 60 percent in pcbe

deepakhial193 Yes, you can take admission in other top medical college like vmmc,kgmc etc except AIIMS as it have there own eligibility criteria in terms of passing percentage of 12th.
There will no issues in getting admission in those colleges as you are eligible according to neet eligibility criteria.
