why bits cutoff of is not coming down even after iteration 4 inspite of less students qualified in BITSAT in this year.

Hi! Sadly, BITS cutoffs are finalized at the discretion of the institute itself. Being a private college, the whole procedure is not as transparent as, say JEE's procedure. Nevertheless, keep on a lookout on their website, sometimes they do make changes and you might be able to get the desired course.

My personal example- Last year I scored around 340 marks in BITSAT. Based in previous trends, I assumed the cutoff would be such that I would get Mechanical in BITS Pilani. However, till the last iteration, I did not get it. I was quite disheartened, but at the last moment, in the last iteration, I got the course!
