Fees are high because they are under private ownership. You cannot expect less than 50lakhs fees in any private college, even a new college which is just evolving will also ask you for 50Lakhs fee. Ofcourse it will take time for you to take the money, which you have invested for your studies. But still let me remind you, just by completing MBBS it will take lots of years to take your money back you will have pursue with specialization.

KMC is a Deemed University and the fee structure in Deemed Universities is usually higher. And the Management quota seats have even exorbitant fee structure. This is a Medical profession and so higher the score, better the Colleges. And higher fees is the reason why even few seats in Deemed Universities have vacant seats even for Stray Vacancy round. It is a choice that the Student makes to study in a Deemed University. And that is something he/she decides to choose in Counseling and so we cannot really comment on the recovery of the fee

yeah, the fees in KMC manipal is too high as compared to other colleges. but there is a reason for which the fees is also high and yet students crave to join there.

the college has great aminities which no other colleges around gives. there are international patients who come there. there are good labs. teachers are friendly, and the exams are so good, that they help you in taking up PG easily.

students get exchanged into foreign universities. so the fees is worth giving.

you will be able to recover the paid fees in 5 years if you get a good job. that wont be a problem.
