Common Admission Test ( CAT ) is the entrance exam for aspiring candidates who desire to make a career in management and business administration i.e. MBA. This examination is conducted by the Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) on a rotational basis.
After qualifying cat doors to IIMS open for you,everyone knows the benefits of studying in IIMs,their packages are considerably high
Definitely you can opt for management after btectonic that would be a great career option if you want to try your luck in marketing field and after doing it from IIMs that would certainly provide you a royal life indeed.

I am not sure what you mean to ask. But, I think your question was "why should I answer CAT after BTech?". If I was right then here's the answer.
CAT exam is an entrance exam for those who wish to pursue masters degree in business administration or MBA. The admission in the colleges providing this course is based upon the scores of CAT exam. If you want to pursue MTech, then you have to answer GATE which is again an entrance exam to get admission.
