Why is BSc, MSc required for filmmaking? Is it not more related to art than science?
While there are no formal requirements to become a filmmaker, a bachelor's degree in film and television production is recommended as it will provide you with an opportunity to acquire many of the skills necessary to work in the field, as well as gain experience with projects and establish industry contacts.
Here I'm sharing a link from which you can get to know the criteria and other detailed information about film making.

What I think it is not always necessary to have science in your bsc or msc. The main requirement is you have to have a bachelor's degree in media science or journalism or tv production. You can also do diploma from a decent university for better future opportunities.
Hope it helps
All the best!
Hi, you must know that these days animation, visual effects and filmmaking is more than. It is about using the lastest of technologies and skill sets(this is where science comes in) and using those to create art or present art. In your bachelor's and master's courses in vfx animation you will be taught how to work with a raw footage and convert it into art. These curses require a person with knowledge about all the relevant software, an artistic bend of mind, some engineering skills and basic understanding of Physics.
