Hi Candidate,
Geographical maps which we come across in our daily lives is generally taken from the Geographical Survey of India conducted by the Geographical department of the country, hence for reference purposes the word (cc) is used.
CC stands for creative commons which denotes the source from which the image is taken from, in the same way as we use the word Source: Internet or Source: Wikipedia when we use some information in our work from other places and mention them.
