Why is everyone here saying that reservation in glc And ILS Pune is 85% where as the official website says 50%

Hi. In both the insitutes, 50% seats are reserved for BC, SC, ST, NT, and others.

In GLC:

SC-13%

ST-7%

VJ/DT-3%

NT-B-2.5%

NT-C-3.5%

NT-D-2%

OBC-19%

In ILS also, 50% seats are reserved.

There are 85% of the total seats of ILS Pune and GLC Mumbai  reserved for Maharashtra Candidates. 10% are for Outside Maharashtra Candidates and 5% are for NRI/ OCI/PIO/ Foreign Candidates.



The 50% reservation is related to the reservation made of SCs STs and other backward classes of Maharastra.



I would suggest you to download the Information brochure from the link below and look at Page number 61 which clearly says that 85% seats are reserved for Maharashtra Candidates.
