Dear Charvi, the mop up round will happen after the left over and vacant seats from Central pool are transferred to the respective States. Because Round 1 Counselling had to be conducted again, the process was delayed. . KNRUHS released a notification stating that after 3 rounds of State Counselling, 412 MBBS and 358 BDS seats have been lying vacant. 8 B Category seats, 404 NRI seats are vacant for MBBS. For BDS, 212 B Category seats and 146 NRI seats are vacant. The mop up round will be conducted tentatively in the month of August for these seats and also the ones to be transferred from Central pool.

Hey I got alloted in 2nd phase and the news of HC ordered stay on admissions of 2nd phase has come . Will they cancel the 2nd phase ? Will I lose my seat? Please answer as soon as possible!

The High Court has asked the Government to respond to petition. Once the Govt. responds to the petition filed, the High Court will take a call.

We dont know yet. In few States like Bihar and Punjab, when there was a hearing, the counselling results were cancelled and they had to be conducted again.
Could you please explain the aligations in simple language and which category would be benefitted by this aligations?
All it says is the counselling procedure violated GO 550. The GO says Open Category seats need to be filled first on the basis of merit irrespective of the reservation Category. However, this rule wasnt adhered to.
