Hello,
Doing a PhD from a private University in I dia is not a bad thing but rather it is not preferred by people due to some reasons. Also the demand for PhD holders from government Institute are much more. universities and colleges seem to hire people who have done PhD from government University rather than from private University.
Hope it helps

Hello aspirant,

Its not illegal but there are certain norms and conditions which are applicable for the Phd holders and there are very limited seat because there is limited vacancy for the proffessors too so ig private institution allow studnets to do Phd you know anyone can get through it.

Good luck
