Is it important to handover our rough sheets for safety purposes so that they make sure that you cannot convey the information related to question through the use of paper, though you have remembered the questions in mind, but they can't be accurate when compared to writing exact question in paper and showing them to your friends who is about to write the exam in next shift or next days. Also they ask you to write name and roll number in order to ensure that invigilators have collected all student's rough sheets. That's it ,not for other purposes, they never evaluate what you wrote on your rough paper.
