why jamia milia Islamia delhi "nirf 16" had low cutoffs. why students are not opting it even with low fee compared with Universities and why there is low average packages i don't understand

Hello there

Hope you're doing well see in any university the cutoff depends upon the number of candidates apply in that University and the highest number of of marks a candidate got it varies with category and department cutoff there is nothing specific about the cutoff it will be going low or high doesn't matter which college is it.

Also you must be doing that Jamia Millia Islamia is a minority Institution and had reservation for the Muslim community students so basically will find apple of muslim students there at sometimes danger different perspective in the colleges compared to other community students.

Also for engineering and other technical professional degrees people prefer IIT NIT IIIT AKTU this type of Institutions rather than Institution of Jamia Millia Islamia so these are the reasons according to me. May be some other reasons to that I am unaware but these could be the major.
