Hello,

Availability of jobs in aeronautical engineering in India is very less mainly due to lack of interest of our government towards this sectors in present scenario. The sector is very much developed in India and possible reasons are on stated above and the other is that it requires large investments which government can't afford at this point of time because our country is working on strengthening other areas.Even through GATE there is hardly 4,6 seats in government bodies like HAL and ISRO and that too not every year. And for working in private firms you need to have experience and more degree in the field. So, if you have time and interest then you can go for aeronautical engineering but if you want a job after B.tech then you should choose any other branch.

I hope this helps.
