Hello Aspirant,

NIT Surat is better than NIT nagpur. Some of the reasons are:

1. Recent placements in CSE department have been excellent.

Google, Amazon, Microsoft, Snapdeal, Oracle, Flipkart (even DRDO) came.

2. Alumni are well placed in various MNCs which attracts more companies.

3.  Extracurriculars in the form of Dramatics, Art and photography,  Music, DRISTI Lab. Specific events around the year dedicated to the same!

4.  Surat is a bustling well-connected city and the college's located in the heart of the city. Around 12 movie screens, 2 big malls in 2 km radius.

5. The college has an entrepreneurial atmosphere and students have opportunity for research as well

Hope  this helps,

Good luck!
