why SRM University has poor placement record, specially in btech cse ??

Such information aren't true. Last year in SRM university Amravati campus, there was a 100% placement in CSE with 7.5LPA package. So don't worry, just keep on studying.
You may call it not as good as VIT but its definitely good in its own way.
